When I first saw this blog, I remembered Florida's song -- "Oh hot damn, this is my chance! Keep me partying till the a.m. Y'all don't understand? Make me throw my hands in the ayer, ay-ayer, ayer- ay-ayer!!" I can definitely raise my hands in the air right now!
My name's Kenneth Teng Ngee Lun, currently 18 years old who had just received my SPM results and waiting for my King Scout Award examination. First and foremost, I would like to thank Dato' Anthony Francis Fernandes and Airasia for giving me and other aspiring pilots the chance to blog their feelings and reasons to become an airline pilot. So you wanna be a pilot, you ask? And YES is definitely my ONE and ONLY answer. I believe not only Airasia, but any, anyone in the world that ask me the same question will only get the same answer --- YES!!
So why?
Well, if not, I would not be here blogging and answering Airasia's call. Not only me, but other aspiring pilots will also do the same and take up the challenge. This is the place only for people who dream to be a pilot. I still remember my childhood experience when I am up in the sky. Every time I board a plane, I'll have airsick. And I mean it, EVERY TIME. However, that doesn't stop me from boarding a plane of course. I'm determined to get over my airsickness. So I tell myself when I'm on a plane: "GET OVER WITH IT. WHERE THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY". I tried and tried. And yes, repeated exposure to the flight environment decreases my susceptibility to subsequent airsickness. Airsickness never comes again. I enjoyed every flight I had back then.
I never thought of becoming a pilot when I was young. I just knew I enjoyed my flights in the plane. Taking a view of the surroundings outside when I'm in the plane, that really excites me. Thinking back, I was happy to successfully overcome my airsickness. I knew that if I hadn't keep on my will to do it, I wouldn't be enjoying my flight as I would now compared to the old times. The feeling when I'm in a plane is totally indescribable and I cherished my every moments in a plane. What makes me more enjoyable are those smiles... Every time I see pilots and flight attendants, their faces will be lit with generous and charming smiles. They must be enjoying their career a lot to be able to give those smiles.

I remembered watching "Triumph in the Skies" which is a Hong Kong drama television series. I never knew this drama was such memorable to others until I read their blogs. They all love it as much as I am!. It's really a great drama. It shows the story of several people who are in the aviation industry. Oh my, how nice those pilots look in their uniforms! This drama is probably the best drama I've ever watched in my life, and my favourite. I learned a lot about the life of pilots from it. I can watch it over and over again!! The drama also shows flight training in Adelaide. That was the time when I took a step closer into the life of a pilot. I read aviation stuffs and articles about pilots' life and career on the internet. And I finally knew what I wanted ever since in my life and as my career. Yes, P-I-L-O-T.

Is it their uniforms, their hats, their ties or their epaulettes that make them admirable? NO, it's their job, their job as a PILOT!!
Ah, another thing I finally knew was filling in the "cita-cita" columns in school with the job I really wanted to be. And I filled all 3 with P-I-L-O-T. It was the first time I filled up the columns from the bottom of my heart (I always copied my friend's as I don't know what to fill, hahaha). My parents did asked me what I wanted to be in the future.
Mum: So have you decided what you wanted to be in the future?
Me : Yes, I wanna become a pilot. Mum: Are you sure? It's a dangerous job.
Me : Yes, I've made up my mind. Piloting is what I really wanted to be and I'm sure about it.
Mum: What if you can't be one? What other jobs you have as your second choice?
Me : There's no second choice. I just want to be a pilot.
Yes, you see it. I just want to be a pilot. Nothing else is my dream. I worked hard studying in Form 4. You may ask why. What's the requirement to be a pilot?
Passed a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent qualifications with credits in five(5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject.
Getting good academic results is the first step in ensuring I achieve my dream as a pilot. Besides, I limit my time watching television programmes. I wanted to maintain a good eyesight as that's also one of the requirements to be a pilot. I also exercise regularly to keep myself fit.
Well, hard work does pay off. I got straight As (8A1 3A2) for my SPM. I scored A1 in English 1119, Physics, Additional Mathematics and Mathematics which are the subjects required. My first step in becoming a pilot is successful! What's more to come? Airasia's opening cadet pilot intake!! Of course I'll never let the chance slip by. I applied it straightaway after completing my National Service. I also wrote a letter to DCA to get my DCA's approval letter for professional pilot training. Sadly, my father doesn't have enough money to finance my pilot training. 250k will add his burden as he's heading his retirement age in 2 years time. Furthermore, he's to pay housing loan and my elder sis is still studying at overseas at the meantime. Being a private pilot is not an option anymore.

My parents asked me to apply for JPA scholarship after I received my SPM results. I had to do so and it was really difficult for me to fill in the course as there was no PILOT! So I put engineering and 2 weeks later I was called up for an interview. In mid April 2009 I was offered Engineering (France) by JPA. I thought of getting an engineering degree at first before becoming an airline pilot if I didn't receive a reply from Airasia cadet pilot intake. My heart sank when I was told I have to study Engineering in France for 7 years and bonded for another 7 years. 7 years in Engineering isn't a big deal, but another 7 years for bond? I'll be 32 years old by that time and I won't be eligible to apply for either MAS or Airasia's cadet pilot intake anymore as the age limit for Airasia is 28 and it's 26 for MAS. It was the biggest decision I have to make in my life. In the end, I decided to reject the offer and study locally.
My reason?
After completing my engineering and bond I'll be 32 years old where I'm not eligible to apply for cadet pilot anymore. Because private pilot is not an option for me, I can only put my hopes on cadet pilot. Moreover, they only offer Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical Engineering. Where's Aeronautical Engineering?? So if I study locally, I'll still have the chance to apply for cadet pilot intake if it's open every year. I'm not willing to give up on my dream to become a COMMERCIAL AIRLINE PILOT.

Why me? How will I make a good pilot?
Passion is the word
I believe every aspiring pilots blogging here will have the same thing, that is PASSION. Passion is of utmost importance for one to be a pilot. A pilot with great passion will love his job. It helps to remember why we are there in the first place. Every second in the plane matters to a pilot. If I didn't love it deep down it would simply become just another job that requires extraordinary sacrifices. That's why I choose to be a pilot because I love it deep down in my heart. Becoming a pilot is about enjoying flying as our career and part of our life. And I'm sure I'll enjoy flying as my career. I'll take up whatever challenges ahead and overcome them to be a pilot. I'm willing to fly for my whole life!!
Attitude
The skills of flying an airplane is only a small portion of what it takes to be a pilot. A pilot's attitude can be his or her most valuable asset. Every decision made is influenced by attitude. I have the attitude to become one.
1) Leadership. I'm very active in school's co-curricular activity as I joined various clubs such as Chess and Carom Club, Leo Club, Taekwondo, English Club, Kelab Bimbingan dan Kaunselling and Scout. I held the positions of class monitor for several times in primary and secondary school. I was also the Assistant Head Prefect in primary school. Besides, I'm the President of my school's Scout Group. During my year as the president, my Scout Group received the Chief Comissioner Quality Scout Group Award. There's only 3 Scout Groups in Sarawak to receive the award that time. I also held the position as Platun Sarjan when I'm in National Service.
2) Teamwork and communication. A good pilot communicates and works well in a team. From large team such as Airasia to a small team of cabin crew in a plane. As an active scout member for 5 years, I value teamwork and communication. Communication leads to teamwork and without communication, there won't be any teamwork. Captains, co-pilots and air traffic controllers need communication among themselves. Even when we are in the position of the captain of a plane, we can't be ego and deny the advices from our co-pilot about possible mistakes in the decision we made. Pilots need to communicate and work in a team in order to ensure a safe flight. Thus, a pilot's attitude decides his or her flying altitude.
3) Discipline. 5 years in a uniform group has instilled good discipline within me. Why is discipline an important criteria to become a pilot? Nowadays, it's a common thing for people to drive over the speed limit on the road or continue driving their car in very heavy rain. Both of these activities elevate the risk associated with driving. But, if we as pilots carry this same attitude into the cockpit, we are NOT GOING TO LAST LONG. Flying an airplane is nothing like flying a car. If I'm a pilot, I'll put great emphasis on flight safety and do my best to ensure that the passengers fly and land smoothly.
4) Responsible. Being ultimately responsible for the safety of the plane, passengers and lives on ground, becoming a pilot means putting tonnes of responsibilities on one's shoulders. It's important that pilots do not scare their passengers or does anything people might not understand without first making sure all passengers understand what they are doing and why. I lead my Scout Group so I know what is it like to take up responsibilities.
5) Decisive. I have the power to determine an outcome. Characterised by decision and firmness, I never hesitate to make decisions. Besides, I have good judgement. What is good judgement? It is the ability to make an instant decision which assures the safest possible continuation of the flight. I believe pilots strongly need that as pilots are always prone to situations that requires them to make the best decision in the shortest time.
6) Cautious. A pilot cannot afford to take risks because the lives of hundreds of passengers are in his hands. I'm the kind of person who doesn't take risk and able to evaluate risks and make decisions. With a cautious attitude, the probability of a safe flight increases.
7) Health-conscious. Pilots need to undergo strict medical examinations. I do not smoke or drink alcohols because I know pilots must maintain a good health in order to be eligible to fly an airplane.
When we think of our dream, we think of someone who can take us there. That someone to me is Airasia. Despite the global recession we're facing now, Airasia's still hiring pilots. If I'm selected as an Airasia pilot, I'll do my part in Airasia's vision, that is "To be the largest low cost airline in Asia and serving the 3 billion people who are currently underserved with poor connectivity and high fares" by providing the passengers safe flights with happiness and satisfaction. If I'm not selected, I'll never give up and knock the doors of Airasia and Malaysia Airlines until I become a commercial airline pilot. Why? Because I'll never take NO for an answer! Lastly, I would like to thank Airasia again for giving me the chance. Make this first blog I write in my lifetime the best.

Hello! Long-time not seeing! Hope you guys had a really great time! Now, enough with the blurbs! So, how’s your study going? It is hard enough to be woman pilot right? LOL! I know your feelings. How about I give some advice to be a great student to pursue your dreams? Okay! These are the list of how can you become a great student!

Make the first week of school count!

First impressions are everything with teachers so make sure they have a positive reason for knowing who you are.

 Always answer questions that the teacher(s) ask you. 

You will have to learn the art of faking intelligence. It's always easier to appear smart than to actually be so. The easiest way to explain how to do this is to recall something that you think has some relevance to the topic at hand. Usually the teacher will say something about how good your point was and then give you clues to the answer s/he was looking for. This method has two benefits. First, the teacher thinks you are paying attention in class, and second, they will think you are capable of independent thought and will be more likely to grade your papers easier.

Recognize busy work.

In order to truly understand, you have to think in terms of the teacher. Teachers are people too. They are just as busy outside of school as you are if not more so. Also remember that for every homework page you do, the teacher must grade, and since s/he might have over 100 students, that's a lot of papers. There's no way to grade all of them in depth. If you follow the above two steps, your teacher will probably think pretty highly of you and won't be checking your work too closely. You can be pretty sure an assignment is busy work if:

• The assignment is a worksheet,
• You see the teacher grading the exact same papers and spending less than a minute on each before entering a grade.

Tackle busy work efficiently.

Busy work should take as much time to do as your teacher will spend grading it! If there is an article with questions, often the questions will be in order of the article. Read each question then skim the article for the answer. In opinion questions, you don't need to put thought into your answer. Just make something up that sounds good. Many students already have a knack for how to handle busywork, but for others it takes practice. It's a huge time saver once you get the hang of it.

Revamp your handwriting.

This step is optional, although it will dramatically reduce your workload. Try for a style that is legible, but quick. Your teacher isn't grading you on your penmanship, and neat handwriting takes valuable time, especially when doing busy work.

Know how to write papers. If your paper flows well, your teacher will be less attracted to what you're actually writing about.

Use a thesaurus to avoid redundancy and vary your sentence structure. Don't spend too much time thinking about what you are going to write and just start writing. Do any pre-writing work you have to turn in after you write the paper to save time. If you make your paper long enough chances are your teacher will only half-read it, so you have two options you could either make a really short and good, or really long with several mistakes. After the first few times you try, you'll realize how easy and quick it is to write perfect papers with half of the rewriting you used to do.

Pay attention in class.

Even though it's tempting to text or sleep during class, especially when there's a lecture, don't do it. There are two benefits to this: first, if you want a way to reduce the work you have to do at home, you have to eliminate most of your studying time, but you still have to do well on tests if you want straight A's. Most people think you can't have both, but you can! Paying attention is the key. Actively take notes. As you're writing, actually think about what your teacher is saying and put your notes in your own words. If you can, think of something funny to remember them (called a mnemonic). Secondly, teachers love students who participate, and will sometimes boost their grades by whole letters. Grades aren't rigid, teachers can manipulate an F to an A or the other way around, although their changes are rarely that drastic, everything helps.

Do your homework every night.

Homework will be the easiest points you will earn all year. That doesn't mean you need to spend hours every night, try utilizing the time at the end of classes. Organize your work in your mind into sections, and then tackle one section at a time. Your first section should be worksheets as they take the least amount of time. Then you should do any homework that is broken down into independent parts, such as math. That way you can work for a few minutes at the end of various classes without wasting time finding your place. Prioritize the remainder of your work based on how hard your teacher grades. Do the work that you know will be read in depth first and do a good job so you can build trust with that teacher. Then do all of the work that might not be checked so closely and don't worry so much about the quality, just make sure your writing is on topic and looks lengthy and detailed. Fill up the page with small writing to make it less likely to be read. If you begin to run out of time with just a few unimportant assignments to do, work quickly through them all making sure to complete them all. Teachers value effort greatly and will appreciate it if you do your homework and the easiest way to an A is to make your teacher happy.

Don't study until your homework is done.

As stressed as you may be about the test, think about the differences between studying and doing homework; when your teacher assigns homework, s/he also assigns a certain point value to the assignment. If you do the work, you get the points, if you don't those points are lost. Your teacher doesn't give you points for studying, just for the test. If the test is hard, no matter how much studying you do, you might still get a bad grade. Then you'll want the cushion homework points will give you. Also, studying in one subject then doing homework in the next will make you forget some of what you just studied requiring more work to learn the same amount of material.

Learn the material during class so your studying is more of a review.

You have nothing better to do during class, so rather than staring at the ceiling or texting, listen to what the teacher has to say. That way, your studying can be a brief review/cram session right before bed the night before the test. Also, if you have a final exam, any material you learned for the first time during a cram session will likely have to be learned again before the exam.

Relax before tests.

Even if you haven't studied at all, if you paid attention in class, chances are you will do fine. If you stress too much, you will blank out and end up with a worse grade.

Come in before school for help.

If your teacher offers to give help outside of school, accept. Even if you are struggling with the material in the class, if you show your teacher you are dedicated, s/he will be more likely to give you a good grade.

Understand your school's grading policies.

 Find out how your school calculates GPA's, if there are weighted grades for honors classes, which grades actually show up on your transcript, the cut-off percentages for each letter grade etc. Grades are a game that all students play and the more you familiarize yourself with the rules, the better you'll do.

Make a strategy.

One strategy is to get a solid foundation in all classes during the first week and not spend too much time in one class, keeping your grades around the B+ or A- range. Then begin working hard on the classes with the lowest grades, bringing all of them to a comfortable position at around 95%. Continue to take part in all extra credit activities where possible and increase your scores to the A+ range so the last few weeks you can focus mainly on projects and maybe even skip a few homework assignments if your scores are really high.

8th Fly! ✈

Hello! Long-time enough for me coz I didn’t update my blog. I got tons of home work to do, Physics, Additional Math, English and etc. to do starting this year. I’ve got to get  A+ for ten subjects that I take in just TWO years. But I think I didn’t follow my objectives…  :’(  I become too tired and sleepy. My mother always scolded me… and I didn’t be what I want to be, an intelligent person and a very punctual person. I think I’ve got lot to learn before I can be what I want to be.

This year… I started make “Solat Sunat” every morning, before Subuh (coz I got to get up early to go to school) after Solat Zohor, Maghrib and Isya’. Recently I didn’t wake up to do all the stuff that I say because my sisters are at home for their 2^nd Semester Break.  I don’t have any privacy to cry all night before going to sleep… I really had gone too far from Allah SWT blessings….

This month had been a really hard moth for me because my family started to make my confidence drop again. They say harsh words to me about my ambition. I hope there is someone that can pray for my ambition. No one is perfect. I’ve made a mistake tons of times but I’ll never be perfect. I’ve got a serious problem because I’ve got a swell at my tiptoe. I can’t walk properly and my tears always swimming in my eyes because it’s too hurt for me to bear. I’ve got to skip my class for one day, and I even get an injection for my tiptoe.

I hope someday I can change for achieving my ambition. No matter how strong I cry, my desire to be a successful airline pilot will not be in front of me without hard work. Hope I can change myself…

Hello! Today I’m going to tell you about the Pilot’s Interview Questions.

So, in this interview, you will be questioned by the interviewer and will be asked many questions about aviation. The interview consist many stages for you to complete before you get to the Flying School. Mostly if you get the MAS scholarship, you will be placed to the Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) or Malaysia Flying Academy (MFA) if you get to complete all of the stages.

The interview is all about how you can work under pressure so it takes a lot of patient to complete the interview.  For the interview, wear a tie. This is because everyone there wears a tie, belt, and black shoes. They will ask you why you don’t wear a tie if you’re unlucky. Don’t let them find a reason to not take u in the airlines.

When you enter the room, there will be 3 or 4 people sitting behind a long table. Before you enter the room, knock and greet them appropriately. Don’t sit until they ask u to or else they will say “Who asked you to sit?” or “Who gave u permission to sit?” So, ask permission before sitting.

This is to startle you to make your confidence drop. Then they will shoot you with questions and pressure you. So, keep calm and answer everything confidently. If you don’t know, just say you don’t know. They don’t want you to try to give the wrong answer. Or just answer confidently. LOL!

So I’m going to give some example of the interview questions. These are questions collected from most of the cadets. If you are really interested in aviation you must know a little bit of aerodynamics.

1^st Question:

Bernoulli’s Principle

Bernoulli’s Principle states that as the speed of a moving fluid increases, the pressure within the fluid decreases.
Like what u learnt in physics. So the wing is an aerofoil. Air moves faster above than below (because it has to travel further). So, as the principle suggest, a low pressure area is created above the wing. This pulls the plane up creating a lift. If the lift is greater than the drag, the plane will lift off the ground.

2^nd Question:

Another component affecting the plane is the drag. Which is countered by the trust of the plane? You guys should know this already. Next they might as you about…

Oh, I just remembered. If they ask you “If you don’t get pass this interview, will u join _____ (enter nemesis airlines name here) _____?”

The answer for this is “Yes”
“I will join any airlines because my dream is to fly and I want to make a carrier from what I like to do the most. I’ve always imagined myself flying and……………..”

5^th Question:

Another interesting part of this interview is they will give you a situation. They will put you in some kind of complex situation where you will be given a few choices. None of the choices will seem right to you but you have to find the best way out.

For example, you just joined the airlines and now you have to fly with this very senior captain with 30 years of experience. It’s dark outside with clouds scowling around u. He is descending to where he claims is an airport, but u know there is a mountain up ahead. If he keeps descending at this rate, he, I mean, both of u and 200 passengers will hit the mountain for sure. What will u do?

So what is your answer? Talk politely to the captain? NO! I know what I’m doing! He shouts at u back.

The interviewers will shout at u back. How can u question his experience? He is a senior captain!

You will be…Umm… I will…

7000ft! Another captain making things difficult for you.

I will…

5000ft! He counts mercilessly.

I will grab the controls from him and knock him out! You came out with your best solution.

3000! You hit a mountain.

Now you realized you should have tried to reason with him. You must understand a senior captain doesn’t take advices form younger people because everybody has got some ego in them. So you have to try a different approach. You can’t go, Captain! You are wrong! I’m right! Imagine a 10 year old speaks to you like that and teaching you to do your job. The thing you have been doing forever.

So try, Captain, are you sure there is an airport there?
If he insist to continue, say “Where is this 4000ft mountain supposed to be?
Act modest; make him tell you where it is. This way he will realize and attempt to cover his pride. LOL!
Oh! I was planning to go around the mountain. I wasn’t trying to go straight at it.
Case solved. But you might get another situation.

Sometimes, in other situation you have to be assertive. I don’t know what they will throw at you. Anyway, I think I might have given a bit too much info. So you might just cheat on the interview which will cancel the whole purpose of the interview. But you must be really interested in flying to have found this page. LOL! So it’s not too bad. In the end, it all comes down to you on how you present yourself to them. Good luck for those who are going to do this interview.

Hello everyone! Okay, I want to tell you about how to apply to flying school after SPM or your last exam. In Asian, the procedure to apply to flying school is easier if you get best mark in Physics, Additional Mathematics and English.

For Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT), you must check the news in the paper and they will tell you about the requiting new cadets for the 20XX batch. And after that you must undergo a serious type of interview to apply to flying school. After that, the APFT crew will take you to the flying school.

There are many APFT students that currently work for major airlines in the whole world. If you get the Malaysia Airlines full scholarship, you will get the training course for free and you will get a job in Malaysia Airlines Company if you completed the training course successfully.

Minimum requirements for cadet’s pilots:

1.   Letter of Approval from Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Malaysia 

2.   18 years and above

3.   Successful completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or overseas cadet pilots with 5 credits passes (including English, Mathematics and Physics plus 2 other subjects)

4.   Pass medical examination (Class I) by a DCA Malaysia approved medical practitioners. 

5.   Good eyesight and not colour blind.

 If you have all the requirements above, feel free to apply to APFT or get the scholarship from MAS. I will update my blog weekly so you can get new info about aviation world.  I will try to search about the scholarship for you guys! This year’s MAS scholarship had expired on 23/12/2010. They will open the requiting for new cadets and scholarship next year! Be sure to check this out! I will provide all the info about the pilot interview sample next post!

Hello! So I’ve been searching for the aviation information on the internet to show to you guys! I’ve found something interesting to share with you.

Title: You know you’re a Pilot when….

1.   You know all types of clouds that you see when you see the sky. 

2.   When you drove your car, first thing you do is make a checklist
  
3.   Instead of saying I do in your wedding day, you say ‘affirm’

4.    Your friends always ask you, “Why do you always use Feet and not Metres?”

5.   You draw pictures of runways, airports, airplanes, etc. when you are bored

7.   You always stare at Captains when you see one at major airports

8.   Your camera is full of aeroplane photos.

9.   you hope to one day live next to the airport, while your mates thinks you are stupid.

10.  Your ultimate goal is to fly for an airline company ( not a domestic one)

4th Fly! ✈

Hello! Long-time no blogging! LOL! Hey, what’s up to all pilots out there? Are you ready to be a pilot? Are you really wanted to be a pilot? Just now I see an airplane passing my house! I’m so happy! But in my happiness there is some sadness that I’m afraid of.

As you know, all the pilots out there, many of them are from riches.  And the can apply to paying flight school to be a pilot. I am not from a well-known family and I have to work hard to get the scholarship. As I know, there are not many people that can bear the expensiveness of the flying school.

Now I have to start from now to get the scholarship. I have two years more to prove that I am an excellent student! It’s hard though. But I can’t give up now. I promised to become a great woman pilot! Now I’m stuck with all the Physics and Math books! LOL!

I’m not a really excellent student and I’m no good at sports. But I must change! (Although I don’t really know how) I’ve got to be active instead being a couch potato, from Emo to Bookworm (for a while) and to study hard in every subjects that I take for SPM! 

No more enjoying myself! And also not to forget to ‘get’ more cm’s in my height! (I NEED 3 CMS MORE!) I will post my daily timetable for you guys out there so remember to subscribe me, okay?  I’ve got a lot work to do so…..

3rd Fly! ✈

Hello everyone! I hope you will subscribe to my blog! Today I'm gonna tell you about myself on how can I regain my faith back when I wanted to give up in aviation world. I hope you will like it!

     So, I've been watching Oprah this week and I caught up with her show about “Don't Stop Believing.” It became my best quotes in my life after “Keep the Dreams Alive.” Oprah show this week, makes me realized about it. For the future pilots out there, I hope you don't stop believing on what you want to be. I have the same feeling when I stop believing to be what I want to be.

     After that, I’ve been in a very sad condition all the week. I've been searching for clue how to make my dreams alive. Lastly I have found something to regain my faith back if I had given up to be a great pilot.

     This is the song that I always sing if I had lost my courage to enter the aviation world. For me, as a Muslim, pray is the best thing to release my stress before I started reading books to make my dreams become reality.

     And it is hard for me to live with all of my family that always says, “Huh? You want to be a pilot?! Sheesh! Stop dreaming, dude!” and also like this “LOL! You're still a kid, man! Forget it! ” My family keeps saying this stuff to me and ALSO my closest sisters! Because my room is full of aeroplane posters and my tuition class note book also had the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) logo. So I must keep patient and keep studying to make my dreams alive and I'm going to be the 1^st MAS girl batch in flight school!

     For the girls and guys out there that wanted to be a pilot, please don't stop believing for what you wanted to be! You can be who you want to be, you can get what you want to get, and you can dream what you want to dream but PLEASE! Don't stop believing and keep the dreams alive!

2nd Fly! ✈

 So, I’ve got nothing to do again… The “Good Luck” story really inspires me well… It’s so sad and touching… I makes me realized that I must achieve my ambition from the start although maybe my family will not have enough money to send me at the APFT. It’s possible for a woman that is always late lazy and not having a good stamina can success in Aviation. Only you can change yourself. It reminds me of an ordinary girl that lives in darkness...

           

             The girl doesn’t really have a friend… She only have around 2-3 friends. But what that really makes me shocked is one day I decided to bring her to the Airport. My father had to go to somewhere else. When we reached there, the first thing she looked is the plane that is flying at the sky… That’s the first time I saw her face in amazement. She forced me to walk quickly to the terminal…. And she asked me if she could go upstairs to see the flight… I said okay and she run away to the upstairs of the airport. At the first floor, you can see a great view at the plane runaway. I rushed upstairs and see her... The first thing that she did was checking the flight schedule. She looked at her watch and quickly rushed to the window.

            She held her hand tightly and her face looks downwards… I just can watch her. After about a minute, the plane landed at the airport. I began to see her burst into tears… That’s the most horrible thing that I have seen to my friend… She cried silently after the plane landed. She wiped her tears and she turned back. She was shocked to see me standing behind her. I walked towards her and asked her to sit on a couch that was facing the window.

            I asked her, “do you really love the airplanes?’” and she replied. “I really want to fly them” Tears began rolling down her cheeks again. I just could remember her face that time. She said, “I just don’t know how. I don’t really have a good physical and mental. I can’t fly planes.” I hugged her tightly and say “Only stupid people that think that way. There are no such things that you say. The person that can fly a plane is a person that believed that planes can fly… And never give up hope to change to a better way…” She was very shocked to hear what I say. I wiped her tears and said “ Don’t give up hope, because the sky is waiting for you… and me…” I can feel the same way as she did because I want to be a pilot too.

            I said “ If you don’t have a dream, and do not have a passion to fly you will never became one of them.” She hugged me and tears are swimming in my eyes… She said “we will become one of the crews”. I asked her if she can stay at my house for a night and she agreed with that. When we reached home, I showed my room to her. She was very shocked to see my room that is full of planes photo. “That’s who I am”. I said.  I wanted to see the sky very much. I looked at the time. I quickly ran towards the window and show the sky to her. We saw a plane across the sky. I said, “Fly. Because I know we can do it.” We cried together while seeing the planes across the sky.

            That is my true story of what has happen to me. I realized that fly is everything to me. To all of the readers , who really wants to fly, I hope you will be the best pilot in the world.

1st Fly! ✈

        It is really great to have a love in your heart.. A true love… Your husband.. Love is an amazing thing that can’t say with words… You just can feel it… You touched it… It’s so beautiful although I never feel it… When I see someone in love, I felt happy… I felt their happiness came towards me… I really want my best for all my friends because I can share their joy… I don’t know why I can’t accept love but I think I had started to accept it. 

          I don’t know love can be so beautiful, I don’t know love can make us feel better.. But what I promise now is I will not have a boyfriend until I can get into Asia Pacific Flight Academy… In order to achieve that, I have to be able to accept these things:

1.      Punctual in time

2.     Can work in group

3.      Be able to stay up until next morning

4.     Study hard for Math, Physics, Add Math, English

5.     Have dreams to fly

6.     Will not give up although there are many obstacles around me

7.     Study hard

8.     Practice 24-hours system

9.     Can read Al-Quran clearly

10.   And the most important thing…. Fly to watch Allah S.W.T. skies..

I know all thing are possible to do. Allah will show me the right way to achieve my goal. And I’m hoping that my true love will be a pilot too… I really want to see the sky with my husband sitting right next to me at the COCKPIT… I will live at the sky until my life is over… That’s my hope…

      First, can passed the APFT test to become a pilot

      Second, find a true love (.^_^.)V

      Third, work with Malaysia Airlines (MAS)

      Fourth, get to be a captain

      Fifth, get married! ( Not in my objectives)

Being able to reach the skies with my Best Friend, Mira is the best thing that I can hope… I will try harder and harder to follow Rasulullah S.A.W. followings to live on… One thing that I know now is life is learning … We learn to stay calm in every obstacles, fall in love (.>_<.) , living in dreams can make you to success, cry can make you feel better, love can make you feel happy…and FLY can make you SHINE…
